B2ST showed strong will to break the prejudice from the dishonoring nickname, ‘three second singer.’
B2ST recently released their first regular album, Fiction and Fact. They are doing well with their title song ‘fiction’ and ‘on a rainy day.’ The song ‘fiction’ is about a man who cannot forget his love and its unique melody stets apart from other songs such as ‘shock.’ B2ST showed off their vocal skills as they freely used falsetto and the original voice.
Yang Yo Sup said, “We wanted to break the prejudice that we are ‘a three second singer.’”
The ‘three second singer’ is a nickname for idol singers who cannot sing and lets the other member cover most of the vocal part.
He said, “as a first regular album and as a way to prove that we can do live, we did our best.
The song ‘fiction’ has high notes for a male singer. Yang said, “we were extremely busy getting ready for the comeback album. We recorded about two songs each day and in some other occasions.
B2ST’s two new songs was ranked on no.1 in Mnet’s M Count Down and KBS2 Music Bank.
