Psy’s “Gangnam Style” has recently been registered on Time’s buzzword list.
On September 13, the U.S. magazine Time put “Gangnam Style” on its weekly vocabulary list.
Time defined “Gangnam Style” as a fancy lifestyle in the Gangnam area of Seoul. The magazine says it put the term in its urban dictionary because it has become popular since the music video of the song was released. It went on to point out that the popularity of the choreography of Psy’s “Gangnam Style” was generating praise for K-pop.
