The ’2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards’ will be held on November 29 at 7 p.m.(Korea Time) in Singapore.

The 13th MAMA will announce the three grand prizes, ‘The Best Singer of the Year’, ‘The Best Song of the Year’, and ‘The Best Album of the Year.’

Including the grand prize, 25 teams will be awarded in total at the ceremony. Among the 190 nominees, there will be a grand prize winner, best boy and girl group prizes, rookie of the year prize, and  best performance prize.

In the boy group competition, TVXQ, B2ST, Big Bang, Super Junior, and 2PM are nominated. In the girl group competition, Brown Eyed Girls, SNSD, KARA, 2NE1, and f(x) are also nominated.

In the female solo category, Kim Wan Sun, Baek Ji Young, Seo In Young, IU, and G.NA are nominated. While the male solo category has, Kim Bum Soo, Kim Tae Woo, Kim Hyun Joong, Sung Si Kyung, and Wheesung competing against one another.

In the rookie of the year category, Kim Ji Soo, Boyfriend, N-Train, Huh Gak, B1A4, Dalshabet, Brave Girls, A pink, Jang Jae In, and Han Geu Ru are nominated, respectively, for the man and women rookie of the year prize.

Since the ceremony is a global ceremony, singers from all over the world will attend and perform during the ceremony. International hip hop producer Dr. Dre and rapper Snoop Dogg, and Will.I.Am and Aple.De.Ap of The Black Eyed Peas will appear.
