2NE1 postpones their return to mid-July

Girl group 2NE1, composed of 4 members, will return to performing later than originally planned.

On June 12, a spokesperson for 2NE1′s agency, YG Entertainment, said, “2NE1 was going to release their new album later this month. But since they are working hard on their album, they decided to postpone their return later than their plan.”

The spokesperson added, “2NE1 will release the new album in mid-July. Group members are preparing hard for their new album so please pay more attention to them and their album.”

According to the agency, 2NE1 postponed their return to work more on their new album not just to avoid competing against the other idol groups.

The group attracted considerable attention by being selected as the most expected group among singers who will return in June.

Even though they had to postponed their debut until a little later, Sandara Park, Park Bom, CL, and Gong Min Ji said that they will do their best to pay their love back to their fans.

2NE1 will release their new album in July after a year.

The group will hold their exclusive concert in Korea in July.
