Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Jung Sungha collaborate on a performance of “That XX” on Inkigayo

G-Dragon, the leader of Big Bang (composed of Taeyang, G-Dragon, Seungri, T.O.P, and Daesung), is to give the first performance of his new song “That XX” on TV.

According to an announcement by YG Entertainment on September 21, G-Dragon is to perform his new song “That XX” with guitarist Jung Sungha on the episode of SBS’s music program Inkigayo that is to air on September 23.

Prior to the release of the album, the song was prereleased on September 1 and attracted attention when it gave itself an R rating.

“That XX” reveals one of G-Dragon’s new charms, implied in an acoustic sound and lyrical melody. It expresses how miserable a guy feels as he watches the girl he has crush on trusting a boy who is involved in another affair.

Moreover, the guitarist Jung Sungha, who is to feature on G-Dragon’s song, has become a famous star around the world since he began posting his guitar performances on YouTube when he was only 10.

Whenever Big Bang, 2NE1, and other singers return with new songs, Jung Sungha has showed his support by uploading the videos in which he plays the songs on the guitar. Now, Jung Sungha is to give a distinctive collaborative performance with G-Dragon.

YG Entertainment says, “Just considering the fact that we’re going to see G-Dragon’s ‘That XX’ and Jung Sungha’s guitar performance, which were previously available only on sound recordings and YouTube, put together into one collaborative effort, it is more than enough to entertain viewers in a fresh new way.”
