On September 6, the rock band FT Island revealed a teaser for its fourth official album, titled Five-Treasure Box.
In the teaser “I Wish,” the lead track of their new album, you will find the five members with a more mature charm than before. The leading female character in the clip draws particular attention, for she turns out to be in the same agency with FT Island; she is Hye Jung of the rookie girl group AOA.
After three years off, FT Island finally came out with an official album, and they built up expectations by saying, “All members participated in composing songs on this album, so we managed to include our favorite type of music.”
Of all the compositions, Lee Hong Ki feels a particular attachment to “Life” and “Compass” while Choi Jong Hun likes “Paper Plane.” Lee Jae Jin’s favorite is “Let It Go,” and Choi Min Hwan and Song Seung Hyun’s is “Compass.”
During the exclusive concert held for the past two days to celebrate the group’s return, the band proved its underlying potential with stable instrument play and stage manners.
The new album will be released on September 10, and the first return performance will be on M.net’s M Countdown on the 13th.
