Group CNBLUE’ single in Japan, “In My Head” has been certified as the Gold Record by the Japanese Record Association.
According to the Japanese Record Association, CNBLUE’s “In My Head,” which released last 19th, has recorded more than one hundred thousand sales, bring it to the Gold status in Japan. The Gold Record status is awarded to albums that have been sold over 100,000.
It is not common for K-pop signers to start promotions in Japan, and to top 100,000 album sales with their debut singles. Yet, CNBLUE proved that they are highly popular in Japan.
CNBLUE has also topped one hundred thousand with the single “First Step” in Korea. This is meaningful because all the songs in the single have been written and composed by themselves.
CNBLUE is to go on a national tour with the kick-off at Sendai on December 3. The last concert is to be held in Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo.
