Exclusive Preview: RaNia at Singapore Club Butterfly Asia

It was a test of patience for all the die-hard fans of RaNia, famed Teddy Riley’s first venture to Asia in Singapore!  Consisting of seven members, the ladies were in Singapore, 18 September, 2011 as part of their “First Asian Fan Tour”. Consisting of leader Riko, Saem, Joy, Jooyi, Dee, T-ae, and the youngest member, Xia.  Don’t know who’s Teddy Riley? Big names such as  Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga have been produced by him. A long line of fan boys and even girls queued peacefully outside Club Butterfly Asia, Singapore for their fan meet, fan signing, and first performance at 8PM!

We first met the group that consists of a diverse composition of members from Thailand, China, and Korea for the conference. The beautiful seven girls clad in glittery blue body-hugging outfits greeted us in an adorable manner. One by one, they were intent in listening, but Joy, the RaNia representative from Thailand, was the one to translate and speak in English fluently.

A few questions that made the girls laugh. Among them were questions asking, “how do you guys stay healthy and keep your slim body?” and “What was your most memorable memory of your fan(s)?” After a talk amongst the girls followed by their cute expressions, contrasting to their sexy concept, Joy answered, “Well, we try to keep in shape by exercising since we have dance practice schedules. As for a fan memory, there was once our fan who followed us around everywhere, even to the hotel!”

Want more from the girls?

This is just a special sneak peek preview for the video of the press conference! Stay tuned for the premiere right here!
