Recently, FT Island spent a meaningful time with its fans, commemorating its fifth anniversary.
On June 2 at 5:00 p.m., FT Island held a fan meeting for its fifth anniversary titled Pri Party 2, Oh, F Day at an auditorium of Yonsei University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
The word Pri from the title “Pri Party 2, Oh, F Day” is an abbreviation of the name of the band’s official fan club, “Pri Madonna,” and “Oh F” refers to five F’s (one of the Korean words for ‘five’ is pronounced “oh”): Fans, Fun, Family, FT Island, and Five.
The event began with the band’s hit song “Severely.” The auditorium was filled with yellow balloons. “Hello Hello” continued to heat up the atmosphere. The band also performed “Stay,” the title track of its recently released album in Japan called 20, showing off its excellent skills.
After that, many interesting events followed: making a cocktail, drawing your ideal type, finding your ideal type among members of the audience, and a talk show. To celebrate their fifth anniversary, a cake was set on the stage and a singer sang, adding more meaning to this fan meeting.
A lot of fans from around the world came to see the group, from such countries as Japan, Hong Kong, the U.K., and Thailand. Domestic fans from Geojedo, Masan, Ulsan, and Jeju Island also gathered. Their attendance made the place shine even more.
On June 9 at 6:00 p.m. local time, FT Island continues its Asia tour in the Thunderdome, Thailand.
