Group f(x) released a music video for the title song “Electric Shock” from their second mini album and drew a lot of attention.
On June 12, f(x) released a 3 minute music video for “Electric Shock” on their official Facebook account. The video was pre-released on June 10 and received an explosive response since it took a year for the group to release their new album after Hot Summer last year.
The title song portrays love as electric shock and includes energetic and rhythmical melodies. The addictive refrain impresses people and the lyrics make people laugh by portraying love as pleasurable and also confusing feelings.
The group has been giving unique performance with special songs, including, “LA chA TA,” “Chu,” “NU ABO,” “Pinocchio,” and “Hot Summer.” In the video, they are also capturing the public’s attention by showing off their own charms and themes.
f(x) will release their album offline on June 13 and start performing on June 14 by appearing on Mnet’s M Countdown. Then they will appear on KBS’s Music Bank on June 15, MBC’s Show! Music Core on June 16, and SBS’s Inkigayo on June 17.
