On May 16, a noodle brand reported that they selected singer IU as the new face of its new product.

It’s the second time for IU to work with the brand after the interactive movie for a kalguksu product. The commercial for the new product is currently attracting wide attention from people with IU singing its CM song.

The noodle brand is trying to combine IU’s friendly image as a beloved singer of all nations with that of its new product.

A spokesperson for the brand says, “IU’s lively, friendly image is appealing not only to the young generation but also to the men in their 30s and 40s, so we chose her as the new face of our brand. Because IU is also an honorary ambassador of Yeosu Expo, we hope that our brand becomes well known to many people during the event.”
