Jang Keun Suk will perform at Summer Sonic 2012 in Japan

Jang Keun Suk will perform this summer at popular music festivals with many world-renowned singers.

On July 2, a spokesperson for Jang reported that Jang was recently invited to both UMF Korea 2012, the largest electronic dance festival in Asia, and Summer Sonic 2012, one of the two largest rock festivals in Japan and the largest urban music festival in Asia.

UMF Korea 2012 will be held on August 3 and 4 at Olympic Stadium in the Jamsil Sports Complex. Many world-renowned DJs and bands will perform at the festival, including Tiesto, Carl Cox, Skrillex, and Steve Aoki.

Summer Sonic 2012 will be held on August 18 and 19 in Tokyo and Osaka. Such world-renowned musicians as Green day, Rihanna, Jamiroquai, Sigur ros, Ke$sha, and Hoobastank will perform at the festival.

Jang will perform as a member of Team H, a project group formed with his music partner Big Brother.

Jang, who ranked first on the Oricon’s daily and weekly charts as soon as his first Japanese album was released, will hold a concert, titled 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour – The Cri Show 2 in  Seoul, on July 7 at Korea University.
