XIA (JYJ’s Jun Su)’s “Tarantallegra” has become popular in Chile.

On July 10 (local time), XIA’s “Tarantallegra” ranked first on the Chile’s popular channel ETC-TV’s Pop Chart. ETC-TV Pop Chart is a music chart for popular foreign songs, and Jun Su became the first Korean singer who topped the chart.

XIA’s first solo album has topped several charts all around the world.

It’s popular in both China and Germany, and it’s also attracting a lot of attention as it ranked first on the Japanese iTunes and tenth on the Billboard World Ablum Chart.

One of the performing art crew in Chile says, “Since JYJ held a concert in Chile in March, their popularity has rapidly increased. Along with this, many people are showing their interest in Korea, so you can easily hear JYJ’s song as ringtones here. Many people are inquiring about another JYJ’s concert in Chile.”

XIA says, “I’m so happy about the result because I feel like it resulted from JYJ’s world tour. Chile is geographically far away from Korea, but I’m really happy and feel more responsibility when I see so many people who love my music. I really appreciate.”

C-jes Entertainment, XIA’s agency, says, “XIA’s concert tour of Asia is almost over, but there are constant requests coming from many countries in North America, Europe, and South America. We can see how popular XIA is as a world-renowned singer. We’re thinking of having another concert tour of Asia.”
