The crew of SBS TV’s Survival Audition K-pop Star complemented BoA, one of the judges of the TV audition program.

On January 15, K-pop Star’s crew said, “The judges, Yang Hyun Suk, Park Jin Young, and BoA, work in perfect harmony that they always provide helpful advice to the contestants. Indeed, BoA is currently receiving favorable reviews from the audience that she is the best female judge. As a judge, she is no less than Yang and Park, who are older and more experienced than her. She always provides frank advices and reasonable compliments.

BoA is getting an enthusiastic response from the contestants as she sincerely advises them based on her real experiences as a singer who has worked since she was very young. Based on clear judging standards, she gives contrasting commentaries according to contestants’ performances. For the contestants who she thinks are disappointing or haven’t put enough effort, she ruthlessly gives frank, cold-hearted commentaries. In the episode of K-pop Star that aired on January 8, BoA comments on Kim Na Yoon, one of the contestants who showed a disappointing performance, “You don’t sing that well. I think you keep trying to smarten up your voice.” However, she freely gives compliments and expresses her affection for the contestants who showed satisfying performances at the Casting Audition Showcase.
