Kim Bum debuts as a singer in Japan

Actor Kim Bum released the first full-length album in Japan and debuted as a singer.

As a next-generation Hallyu star, Kim released the first album on June 20 with a lot of support from many Japanese fans and held a promotional event for his first album on June 24.

The event was held at the Venus Port in Odaiba, Tokyo. Including the lead track, “Home Town,” he chose three songs from his first album and performed in front of his fans. As he also had a talk time with his fans that numbered more than two thousands, the place was heated up with cheers and applause.

After the event, Kim shook hands with his fans, and the fans got excited as they could see Kim at a very close distance.

Kim successfully presented the Japanese fans with his first album, which he devoted himself for about a year, and the event was also successfully finished.

Kim says, “I don’t want to differentiate actors from singers because I think actors can also show their new looks as singers. I wish I can hold a concert tour someday and meet my fans to thank them.” In addition to the event, Kim also had interviews with some Japanese media sources while he was staying in Japan for three days.
