Kim Hyun Joong held press conference for High Five session in China

Korean pop icon Kim Hyun Joong arrived in Chengdu, China yesterday, continuing his asia fanmeeting tour in China. He will be touring 4 cities in China this June, starting off with Chengdu.

Earlier this afternoon, Kim Hyun Joong made his appearance at high5 press conference, he thanked fans for their passion and welcoming him at the airport. He expressed that he felt really touched to see so many fans waiting for him even though it was very late into the night!

During the press conference, when asked about singing and acting, which one he prefers more, he gave a smile and said that he loves both and he will do his best for both singing and acting. He also expressed that due to his heavy schedule, he did not get the chance to tour around the city after he arrived. He wishes that after the high five session ends, he will get some time off to go for sightseeing around the city. One of the reports asked him if he will open an weibo account, he smiled mischievously and said “if there’s a chance, i will give everyone a surprise next week!”.

Towards the end of the press conference, Kim Hyun Joong expresses his interest in famous ‘Shu’ embroidery of Chengdu, wishes to visit the Panda Reserve and interact with Panda. After hearing this, many fans joked about the main reason why he picked Chengdu as one of his stops for asia tour.

In the mean while, Hyun Joong will be having a high five session with 1000 lucky fans randomly picked by concert organiser today. Kim Hyun Joong’s 1st fanmeeting in Chengdu will be on 1st June, he is the first korean artist to come to stage a concert in Chengdu.
