Another history was made by the incredible five-member group of YG Entertainment -Bigbang.

On the 6^th of November at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Bigbang grabbed the first ever MTV EMA’s World Wide Act Award with 58 Million votes, representing Asia Pacific against Lena (Europe), Abdelfattah Grini (Africa/India/Middle East) ,Britney Spears (North America) and Restart (Latin America).  On their acceptance speech,  Bigbang’s leader, Gdragon said, ” Wow! It’s Amazing! Thank you so much! We are Big Bang from South Korea! It’s nice to meet you all. And because  this award is something that our fans have given us, it is a lot more meaningful and it gives us more joy. I would like to thank our fans- VIP, once again. And through this opportunity, I hope we can attract more love and interest to Korean music and Bigbang as well.” Taeyang, also added, “This is only because of our fans, throughout the ups and downs. Thank you for standing by us. Thank you!”  Both thanked MTV and YG Family as well. It is also amazing to let thousands of people in the arena hear Bigbang’s Tonight on the background as the group received their award.

This is a very important night to all Bigbang fans because it has been the first time since the five of them got together in an event. Recently, the group’s strength has been put to a test, as scandalous rumours spread across nations. Fans worldwide got so emotional after the announcement of the winner of WWA as twitter  and facebook were flooded with their cries. It has been evidently observed, that it is not only Bigbang fans who voted for the group, but all other KPOP fans worldwide. Bigbang has once again united a variety of people to support Asia Pacific.  “All the sleepless- tiring nights paid off. And it is worth it.”, tweeted by a VIP. All the bashing and worries of fans faded when they see the five of them put on their smiles.

Surely, people miss this quintet as they flood the MTV EMA twitter tracker with encouraging tweets for #Bigbang. Bigbang surpassed the sweet couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez,  Katy Perry and even Lady Gaga on the list.

And as what they say, a great party needs a good dress.  Well, spot Bigbang with their stylish clothing which showed their swag. The boys looked really good in their metal stud-themed clothing as they graced their first MTV EMA “pink carpet”.  And as what was said by Jeremy Scott with his holographic western outfit, “You should go confident and do what you feel that’s good, when you feel good you would look great and people will like it.”  The boys did pull it off, right? They definitely look hot!

 Bigbang is undeniably a group of exemplary. They have proven their worth against their supporters, nemesis and haters.  Yet, as what TOP said,  “We (Bigbang) will live like a weed that perseveres through everything rather than a flower that withers away quickly.”  Indeed, a very strong statement which Bigbang was able to embody through the years. A lot of controversies tried to stop the group from rising against the bizarre world of entertainment industry, yet up to now they stayed as tenacious as a weed ; up to now they’re hitting huge success just as this. It is just normal that people tend to put you down when you’re on the pedestal, what matters is , on how you managed to get a strong grip and never fall down.

The KPOP industry, Bigbang’s fans ,YG Family and the entire Korea must be so proud of them. Congratulations to Bigbang and YG Entertainment ! From here on, let’s show more love for the group and let’s all welcome them with a big BANG! when they come back.
