U-Kiss Meet The Fans Brunei Darussalam


With only less than a month to go before U-Kiss arrives in Brunei to meet its fans in the Sultanate, the organizing committee of the U-Kiss Meet The Fans Brunei is shifting into high gear to ensure the smooth running of the event on May 29, 2011.

Preparations are underway as Urban Touches Entertainment (UTE), the organizer of the much anticipated event, conducted vigorous promotions and awareness online via its website at http://ukissbrunei.tumblr.com

A teaser video of the Meet The Fans Session in Brunei will be uploaded to the website in a few days. The video is a recorded footage of members of U-Kiss delivering a special message to fans in Brunei for the upcoming event in May. Fans are invited to watch the video by frequently visiting the website for updates.

U-Kiss fans will be delighted to know that U-Kiss will be in Brunei to promote their just released and much anticipated fifth mini album ‘Bran New Kiss’, following the recent arrival of two new members in the group.Ak Kamal Ghadafi Pg Hj Suhaimi, the President of Urban Touches Entertainment said that pre-sales of the U-Kiss Meet The Fans Brunei tickets have been very positive for the past month, with the most high end ticket being sold out just a matter of days after the tickets were on sale.

“It didn’t take long for the Diamond tickets to be sold out, and now our Platinum tickets are currently selling like hotcakes,” said Ak Kamal Ghadafi.

Tickets for the upcoming event have been available on pre-sale at B$250 (platinum), B$120 (Gold) and B$60 (Silver).

He said with the Diamond ticket sold out, fans can still purchase the Platinum tickets which will allow ticket-holders an opportunity for an exclusive autograph session with all members of Ukiss and other attractive packages during the event.

Ak Kamal Ghadafi said there has been overwhelming response from the public on the upcoming arrival of U-Kiss to Brunei for the first time.

“It has been a while since an international artist or group made a public appearance in Brunei. The excitement is really strong because this is not something we all get to experience frequently here,” said the President of UTE.

Furthermore, he added, the event has attracted fans from across the region, and has received early bookings from fans from Malaysia, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore.

“We were also approached by several fans who requested that we organize similar events in the future with other K-pop groups, something that we would look into once this event is a success,” he said.

U-Kiss is a seven-member South Korean boy band who made their debut in 2008. Formed by NH Media, the boyband is currently one of the most sensational groups of K-Pop with a huge fanbase all across Asia, including Brunei. U-Kiss stands for Ubiquitous Korean International (Idol) Super Star.

The group has released one full-length album, five mini albums and various singles. Their first full length album, Only One, was released on February 3, 2010. The Meet The Fans session will take place at the Jerudong Park Country Club Amphitheatre and will be held on a Sunday afternoon from 3pm until 6pm.

Besides an opportunity for fans to meet with their favourite artists, this event is also targeted to be an event that will foster better business relationship, business opportunities amongst partners and sponsors, interactive sessions with potential customer that will be attending the event, scope of the business product which is the event, people to people relationship, confidence in business opportunities, marketing platforms and fostering relationships with the Republic of Korea.
