Rain returns from Hong Kong, where he showed just how huge the Korean Wave is.
Rain was in Hong Kong to participate in the opening of MCM’s flagship store May 27.
World-class celebrities such as Rain participated in the event, including MCM president Kim Sung Joo and Kong Hong’s famous broadcast personality Sammi Cheng.
Over 200 reporters jostled to catch Rain, and crowds thronged the city streets. It was a moment that reconfirmed Rain’s unfading popularity.
MCM introduced new products such as the Rain Collection, the Hen Collection, and the M-Evening Clutch Collection to commemorate the Hong Kong opening.
The Hong Kong media showed great interest, saying, “Rain is an influential celebrity in China, and he showed such gentlemanly demeanor in his participation as a goodwill ambassador.”
Rain is currently filming Rain: Near the Sun and is planning to enter the military service later this year.
