The ranking of girl group members’ singing abilities is currently a hot issue.
An article under the title of “The Ranking of Girl Group members’ Singing Abilities” has recently been posted on an online community board and attracted attention.
It says the ranking is based on delivery of lyrics, voice tone, power of voice, groove, and techniques seen from the girl group members’ live performances on TV and radio.
According to the article, SISTAR’s Hyo Lyn ranked first, scoring 380 points out of 400, Davichi’s Lee Hae Ri and Brown Eyed Girls’ JEA ranked second and third, and IU and SNSD’s Taeyeon ranked fourth and fifth.
It’s been reported that the article was written by three vocal trainers of major agencies, and there are other comments about the female singers’ musical styles and each girl group’s characteristics.
