T-ara’s Hyomin recently said that she bought stage costumes for the new girl group Gangkiz, who will perform on TV for the first time.
Hyomin worked with the new group as a director and also became a stylist for their first performance on TV. She wandered along the district south of the Han river to find the perfect costumes for the new group and their song “Honey Honey.”
Hyomin is well known as a fashionista among idols and people try to wear the same clothes she wears. There are many online sites which are made specifically for people who want to copy Hyomin’s fashion style.
Hyomin also went to Europe as a staff member for 8 nights and 9 days with photographer Cho Se Hyun to shoot a pictorial for Gangkiz.
She even narrated the new group’s traveling Europe video. When Hyomin arrived in Korea from Japan, she visited the editing room, where Gangkiz’s music video was being edited, and worked on the video throughout the night with director Cha Eun Taek.
Hyomin said, “Gangkiz will appear on Music Bank on May 18. They will also appear on Music Core and Inkigayo to perform “Honey Honey.” Please pay attention to them and since I’m their stylist, please pay attention to their fashion too.”
Gangkiz’s mini album was released on May 16 at midnight and it is receiving a lot of attention with the 7 minute and 15 second dramatic music video.
