Teen Top reaches the top of Japanese Tower Records with their new EP

Teen Top is rising as a next-generation K pop star.

According to an announcement by T.O.P Media on August 24, Teen Top ranked first place on Japanese Tower Record’s K-pop Chart for the second week of August (13th  – 19th). They reached the top with the mini EP Be Ma Girl,, which was released in Korea on August 3.

Teen Top consists of six members: C.A.P, Chunji, LJoe, Niel, Ricky, and Changjo. They have been gaining popularity since their debut in 2010. They have not made an official debut in Japan yet.

Previously, in June, Teen Top held a solo concert, Teen Top Zepp Tour 2012, in three major cities of Japan: Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.

Teen Top will appear on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on August 24, MBC’s Music Center on August 25, and SBS’s Inkigayo on August 26. They’ll perform “Be Ma Girl.”
