The BOSS’s fifth single, “Jumping,” has ranked fifth on the Oricon weekly chart.
The minute it was released on March 28, the song placed third on the Oricon daily singles chart. The group has continued to grow in popularity, ranking fifth on the weekly chart as well.
Unlike their previous gentlemanly image in Japan, the group appeals with a totally different look—tough and powerful—with the song “Jumping,” and fans find it refreshing.
From March 27 to April 2, a large panel was installed at the Shibuya Tower Records store celebrating the release. The BOSS has been holding a handshaking session since March 30, attracting more than 1,000 fans so far.
After releasing their first official album in Korea in April, the group will be busier giving performances.
