Releasing their sixth mini-album on April 25, U-Kiss topped the charts with the lead track “Doradora” and successfully gave comeback performances on TV music programs.
At the same time, the first episode of cable TV channel Super Action’s drama series Holy Land, which stars U-Kiss’s Dong Ho and Hoon, recorded a viewing rate of 2%. It’s the highest rate in all drama series aired on cable TV channels.
Holy Land, a remake of the Japanese original, is directed by Park Ki Hyung and starring Dong Ho and Hoon. Dong Ho is playing the leading role Kang Yoo, and Hoon will be playing the role of Kang Tae Sik, a legend of Tae Kwon Do, from the second episode.
After watching the first episode, the viewers responded: “Dong Ho’s actions scenes were fresh and great,” “I’m so excited about Hoon’s performance, too,” “I’m really curious about the story.”
As U-Kiss always attract many overseas fans whenever they appear on TV shows or drama series, many people expect their bright future as a global idol group.
