While YG Entertainment’s new girl group is attracting wide attention, a video of the fifth member of the group dancing received over two million hits in only four days.

The video has received over 2.1 million hits on YouTube until May 16. The video was released on YG Life, YG’s news blog, for the first time on May 11, and it received over two million hits by May 15. Regarding the fact that it was a video of a trainee who hasn’t officially debuted yet, it’s a surprising result.

It shows that a large number of people are paying attention to YG’s new girl group and the fifth member.

Whenever the members of YG’s new girl group were introduced to the public for the first time, words related to them ranked first on the most searched word lists of all portal sites. It was the same for the fifth member. The 16-year-old girl was born between an American and a Korean and is showing off a great dancing ability in the short video, which is a minute and 37 seconds long.

YG hasn’t spoken about the total number of members and when the new girl group will debut, but it seems almost certain that they will debut in September this year.
