6 Youtube sensations step out of their youtube screens and dazzled the crowd with their live performances. The first ever YouTube Stars Music Festival was held in Singapore at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa. The evening kickstarted with local duo Sam and Yifan who won a singing contest to be the opening act. One of the 6 youtube stars was homegrown boy, Clo who sang 4 songs including B.O.B’s popular hit ‘Nothin On You’.

The crowd burst into screams and heartsigns when 19 year-old Tiffany Alvord took the stage. Dressed in a Topshop dress adding a tinge of attitude with a dyed denim jacket, she charmed the crowd with her innocent sweet persona. She spontaneously made a vlog on stage, spanning the cheering crowd with her handycam.

Joseph Vincent, the handsome lad with the guitar was up next. Crooning to his self-composed song, a medley of Adele’s ‘Rolling in the deep’ and Jessie J’s ‘Pricetag’ as well as Jason Mraz’s ‘I’m Yours’, he definitely blew the crowd away. Being a man full of fanservice, he threw a shirt into the crowd and the lucky fan who caught it, was invited on stage.

“I believe every young lady deserves to be serenaded once in their life.” That line alone melted even the loneliest hearts and had him shooting to #1 Ideal Guy spot. He serenaded her with Backstreet Boy’s ‘I Want It That Way’.

Taiwanese-American Jason Chen followed after. Looking rather nervous at first, he attempted to follow the steps of Mr.Suave(Joseph Vincent) by inviting a fan with his trademark owl balloon on stage. He also invited Joseph back on stage for a special duet ‘Just a Dream’.

Ana Free‘s hyper-energetic performance got the crowd jumping and dancing to the beat especially when she performed Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’.

WIth the crowd at the highest energy-level possible chanting for a certain Star, the much-awaited Korean-American phenomena David Choi got on stage. He admitted to being shy and awkward but was passionately confident once he performs. A total of 4 songs including his hits ‘That Girl’ and ‘By My Side’, the crowd definitely looked satisfied.
