Gong Yoo will hold a concert in Japan to celebrate his 10th year since the debut

Actor Gong Yoo plans to establish a strong foothold as Korean star by holding special events to celebrate his 10th year since his debut. He plans to spend his time with the fans in three major Japanese cities including Budokan.

Previously in September, Gong Yoo held a fan meeting to celebrate his 10th year since the debut, and he plans to do the same with the fans in Japan starting from December 7 in a concert-like manner.The fan meeting, ‘Celebration Concert for Gong Yoo’s 10th Year’ is planning to be held like a concert in three major cities. Actor Gong Yoo will look back upon his activities and will invite the guests and introduce the music.

Gong Yoo will hold his first concert in Fukuoka on December 7, another concert in Aichi on December 9, go to Shinagawa Station on the 10th and hold the last concert at Budokan on December 12 and wrap up the tour.

Gong Yoo’s agency Forest Management reveals, “Gong Yoo is putting all his efforts in getting ready for the fan meeting in Japan. He cast the guests himself, planned everything out in detail. Not only that, he decided on the songs that he will sing and recruited the band members and is practicing fervently to show the best performance possible.”

Gong Yoo who gained popularity with The First Shop of Coffee Prince, became popular in Japan with last year’s movie, Finding Kim Jong Wook and this year’s movie Dogani. Most of all, The First Shop of Coffee Prince where Gong Yoo showed off his romantic charms, received enthusiastic response from the fans and aired several times on Japanese Fuji TV.

Gong Yoo plans to stay in Japan for a whole week and will leave to Japan from Incheon International airport on December 6.
