Seoul, Korea — I Love You, I Don’t Love You, a farewell story of Lim Su Jeong and Hyun Bin directed by director Lee Yoon Ki is the only Asian movie to be invited to the 2011 61st Berlin International Film Festival official competition section.
Berlin International Film Festival, one of the 3 film festivals in the world along with Cannes and Venice, satisfied the discerning spectators of the world with its strict selection of movies. I Love You, I Don’t Love You is one of the 16 movies in the world that was chosen for the official competition section to strive for the Golden Bear, the top prize. Not only that but it will be shown together with the opening film, True Grit by the Coen Brothers, Pina by Wim Wenders, invited for the Out Of Competition section, and Coriolanus by Ralph Fiennes as his debut movie.
The three past movies of director Lee Yoon Ki This Charming Girl (2004), Ad-lib Night (2006), My Dear Enemy (2008), were shown on the forum section of Berlin International Film Festival. Director Lee Yoon Ki will be standing head to head with world directors such as Paul Thomas Anderson and Roman Polanski because of his movie I Love You, I Don’t Love You being invited to the official competition section of the 2011 61st Berlin International Film Festival.
