Gong Yoo’s first fan meeting since his discharge from the army

Seoul, Korea – On January 10 at Yonsei University, actor Gong Yoo held his first fan meetingsince his completion of military service a month ago. The theme of the gathering was “694 Days Waiting for Gong Yoo,” and around a thousand fans attended, including some that flew in from Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and even New Zealand.

During the gathering, Gong Yoo sang several songs, accompanying himself on the guitar. The songs included “Like a Child,” “It’s Fortunate,” and “Nothing Better.” Gong Yoo also performed a duet with Jung Yeob of Brown Eyed Soul. Gong Yoo told stories of his experiences in the army, and the evenr also included other activities such as cutting a cake, giving presents, and taking photos with fans.

Gong you told his fans, “I would like to thank everyone who waited for me for two years. I will put all my passion and energy into my work and not disappoint you.” Gong Yoo is currently deciding which of multiple offers to choose for his comeback project.
