Architecture 101, released on March 22, attracted 66,504 people in just a day, vaulting to the top on the daily box office rank. The total attendance at this movie has topped 151,577 people.
Architecture 101 features Han Ga In, Eun Tae Ung, Bae Su Ji and Lee Jae Hun. The film went viral even before being released because it is filled with nostalgia for the 1990s. It also beat the box office hit Helpless, which won tremendous popularity in March in Korea. Along with Helpless, Architecture 101 is highly expected to attract a great number of moviegoers to theaters in March.
Architecture 101 is a romantic melodrama in which two lead characters, who happens to meet in 15 years, get to build a house together.
On the March 22 box office ranking, Helpless ranked second, attracting 49,353 people to its screens, with total attendance of 1,799,216 people.
Untouchable: 1% was right followed with 46,161 people, while Chronicle ranked fourth with 8,093 people. This Means War stood on fifth, attracting 6,938 people.
