What is the most popular drama/ actor from all over the world?

Seoul Drama Awards organizing committee made a contract with the French organization, Korean Connection. They are starting a promotion with Korea.com (http://en.korea.com) on the 27th of this month. More than a million people who love Korean dramas will join the promotion.

The nominees for Korean dramas which have sold out to over 10 countries or made over 3 million dollar include: KBS’s Mary Stayed Out All Night, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo, and Dream High, MBC’s Dong Yi, My Princess, and Kim Su Ro, SBS’s Giant, Athena: The Goddess of War, Secret Garden, My girlfriend is a Gumiho, Bad Guy, and so on.

Nominees for the most popular actors in Korea are: Jang Keun Suk (Mary Stayed Out All Night), Park Yoochun (Sungkyunkwan Scandal), Song Seung Hun (My Princess), Hyun Bin (Secret Garden), and Kang Ji Hwan (Coffee House).

And Park Min Young (Sungkyunkwan Scandal), Moon Geun Young (Mary Stayed Out All Night), Kim Tae Hee (My Princess), Lee Yo Won (49 days) and Ha Ji Won (Secret Garden) are competing for the most popular actress award.

The best Korean drama and actor will be selected by the votes of buyers from foreign broadcasting contents and the results of the contest will be calculated via Korea.com. The votes of foreign buyers will count for 30%, Korea.com votes for 70%. Seoul Drama Awards ceremony will air live on August 31, on SBS.
