The popular girl group 4Minute’s Nam Ji Hyun is to make a surprise appearance in The Third Hospital.
On August 3, the production company of the cable channel tvN’s The Third Hospital (written by Seong Jin Mi, directed by Kim Young Joon), Taewon Entertainment, announced that Nam will be featured in the series as one of the patients.
A staff member says, “Just as in real life, she plays the role of a popular singer. She quite successfully played a character who falls off the stage while giving a performance and is immediately taken to a general hospital, called Seohan Hospital, to relax her tense muscles.”
Although the weather was hot, people say that she never quit smiling, brightening the atmosphere.
The Third Hospital covers a “medical battle” between Oriental and Western medicine in the neurosurgery department at a general hospital. The cast includes Park Geun Hyung, Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, Kim Min Jung, and SNSD’s Sooyoung. The series will premiere on September 5 at 11:00 p.m. as a follow-up series to I Need Romance.
