B.A.P will transform into legendary idol group H.O.T.
On August 23, Mnet said, “In the August 24 episode of M Countdown, B.A.P and VIXX will perform songs that were sung by first generation idol groups H.O.T. and Sechs Kies.”
B.A.P will take on H.O.T. and sing their debut song “Warrior’s Descendant.” B.A.P also released their debut song “Warrior” this year. The group was praised for their powerful performance, which is similar to H.O.T.
On the other hand, VIXX will transform into Sechs Kies and sing “The Way This Guy Lives.” VIXX is currently keeping busy with their new title song “Rock Ur Body.”
The production crew said, “The two new groups will show their different looks by performing songs from the 90s and the performances will bring back memories for fans of the first generation idol groups.”
Besides the two groups, B2ST, Eru, AOA, F.cuz, Sol Bi, Phantom, Twox, D-unit, Tasty, SKARF, Tiny G, Supernova, EXID, and Fresh Boys will appear on the show, which will air live on August 23 at 6:00 p.m.
