ESPN, an American entertainment and sports programing network, has mischievously celebrated SNSD’s Jessica’s belated birthday with an embarrassing video of her throw at a baseball game.
On May 14, ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption broadcast Jessica’s pitch at the opening game, which has been dubbed her “drop throw” in Korea. The anchor reported, “Happy belated 23rd birthday, Jessica Jung. She is in a very hot Korean girl band called Girls’ Generation. We’re wishing her happy birthday to show you this video.”
The video covered Jessica doing her first throw at the opening baseball game between the LG Twins and the Samsung Lions held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on May 11. The star stood on the mound with an excellent pose, but her ball dropped straight down as soon as it left her hand. She was embarrassed, and since then has been called by the nickname “drop throw.”
Jessica’s birthday was on April 18, so the belated birthday wish is nearly a month late.
