Han Hyo Joo is casted to play a queen in The King Of Joseon

Entertainer Han Hyo Joo is casted to play a queen in the movie The King Of Joseon (directed by Choo Chang Min, produced by CJ E&M). The leading actor of the movie is Lee Byung Hun, who works in the same agency with Han.

Recently, the production company CJ E&M finished casting Lee Byung Hun, Han Hyo Joo, and Shim Eun Kyung as leading actors and begins shooting at the beginning of next year.

The movie is known to be a project with King Kwangheagun at the center. It is motivated by the story of Prince and the Pauper; a low-class person opens his eyes to the role of a king after making decisions for him. It has already been an issue by having Lee Byung Hun play a double role of a low-class person and the King Kwanghaegun.

Han Hyo Joo plays the queen, a strong woman who falls in love with the “changed” king, but does not lose her dignity. Han has an experience of shooting historical drama series by appearing in MBC’s Dong Yi.

On the other hand, Shim Eun Kyung plays the court lady, Sa Wol, and says that she will appeal with distinguishing charms despite having a relatively small amount of shooting.

The shooting for The King of Joseon begins in March next year, and it will be released during second half of the year.
