Singer IU recently took the plunge to rebut the criticism that she is too skinny.
On the episode of SBS’s Strong Heart that is to air on May 29, the teenage singer was eager to rebut the criticism about her physical size. IU even measured the height and weight of herself on the set to prove that she is not that skinny after all.
The song bird explained, “Some time ago, I lost quite a few kilos. Since then, there appeared news criticizing my body looking too skinny. But I’m not that skinny anymore. Now I’m back to normal.”
She added, “I revealed my actual height and weight through SNS, but it made the situation worse. Nobody seems to believe the truth, and the news got worse.”
Then, the song bird surprised everyone on the set by measuring the height and the weight of herself on the set in order to dispel the judgemental news about her physical size.
