Infinite’s Woohyun, who is currently having a busy time in both Korea and Japan, is making his acting debut on The Thousandth Man.

In MBC TV’s fantasy sitcom series The Thousandth Man, which will start airing on August 17, Woohyun plays the role of a boy named Woohyun, who is handsome, frank, and warmhearted unlike the way he looks.

Through this sitcom series, Woohyun makes his acting debut on TV. Majoring in Broadcasting and Entertainment, Woohyun has received a lot of attention as an actor after successfully playing the role of Jiyong, a son of the lead actress of the musical Gwanghwamun Love Story in 2011.

Regarding the first shooting of the sitcom series, Woohyun says, “It was like the first day I went to school when I was eight. I was excited throughout the shooting. In the second shooting, I felt like coming back to school after a vacation. I feel fresh every time when I come to the set. I want to portray my character in an open and direct manner so that my acting can be natural.”

Woohyun also says, “Sunggyu cheered me on a lot. Other members also said I fit in with the sitcom genre because I’m usually the one who makes the members laugh. They said I should be able to enjoy acting so that viewers can also enjoy watching.”

The Thousandth Man, a sitcom series in omnibus format, is about Mijin (played by Kang Ye Won), a legendary fox with nine tails who tries to get the thousandth human liver in order to become a human being, and her family living with human beings. The series will start airing on August 17 at 9:55 p.m.
