Singer IU’s public proposal is creating a stir.

In the episode of KBS 2’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook that aired on May 25, IU sang one of her own songs, “Peach,” and created a stir when she made a public proposal in the middle of the performance saying, “Will you marry me?” The emcee Yoo Hee Yeol said that he found her voice so seductive that he described the scene as “playing the coquette.”

Moreover, the star shared her feelings about becoming an adult on the Coming-of-Age Day. When asked, “How does it feel to turn 20?” she replied, “I don’t really like it.”

The audience booed when she added, “My body gets tired too easily.” Then she explained, “The first thing I recognized is that I wasn’t used to feel any difference before and after getting a massage, but nowadays, I find it very effective to release fatigue.”

Basically, she explained how important it came to her to take care of her body. About her peach drawing which was later named “Naughty Peach,” she said, “My agency asked me to draw a peach to use it during the album promotion, but it came out to look like someone’s butt so we never got to use it.”

Besides IU, the broadcast included exciting performances of G.Na, Brave Guys (composed of Shin Bora, Jung Tae Ho, Park Sung Kwang, Yang Sun Il) and Peppertones.
