On May 11, the production company Yoon’s Color reported that KBS 2TV’s drama series Love Rain was recently exported to twelve countries.
Love Rain was exported to Japan with the top price even before it started airing. It has been exported to total twelve countries, including such Asian countries as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore, and some countries in North America and Europe.
Many people have already expected the high popularity of Love Rain. Before it started airing, it received wide attention from reporters from several countries at Love Rain exhibition, which was held at Haneda Airport, and a production report conference. It also received the most attention at MIPTV, one of the world’s leading entertainment content and digital media markets that takes place annually in Cannes.
Director Yoon Suk Ho’s talent in creating beautiful scenes and Jang and Yoona’s great acting also contributed to receiving wide attention from the foreign markets. It’s especially meaningful as the Korean’s distinctive sensibility is welcomed in foreign countries.

Love Rain will start airing on the Japanese cable TV channel KN TV on May 26 and will air twice a week. It will also start airing on the Japanese channel Fuji TV in July.
