Actor Kim Soo Hyun will receive a big present from his fans.
On July 23, Kim’s fansite (www.kim-soohyun.com) announced that they will air a commercial through electric bulletin boards at three locations in downtown Seoul on July 24 to celebrate Kim’s 5th anniversary.
A spokesperson for the fansite said that the 40 second commercial will air every 20 minutes on July 24 and 25 starting at 6 o’clock in the morning through midnight. The commercial will air through four electric signs near Gangnam Station, Nonhyeon Station, Myeongdong Station, and Migliore building.
The commercial features Kim’s July 2007 debut on MBC’s daily sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile and his filmography, including, KBS’s series Jungle Fish, OBS’s series Love After Seven Years, SBS’s series Will it Snow for Christmas, Father’s House, and Giant, KBS’s series Dream High, and MBC’s series The Moon Embracing The Sun.
The speeches Kim made when he received a prize at the SBS Acting Awards in 2010 and when he received the Best Actor prize at Paeksang Arts Awards in April, 2012 were also included in the commercial. He said: “I hope to become a good actor in ten years.” “I’m truly thankful and shameful. I feel like I received a huge assignment. I will try harder.”
