Recently, the production crew of KBS 2’s new drama series Big (written by Hong Jung Eun, Hong Mi Ran / directed by Ji Byung Hun, Kim Sung Yoon) performed a ritual ceremony for the series.

On May 24, all staff of the series including the cast of Kong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, Bae Suzy, Jang Hee Jin, Shin Won Ho, and the director Ji Byung Hun wished the best for the series at the setting in Jincheon, Chungcheongbuk province.

When the making and still staff became busy performing the ritual, Kong Yoo offered to hold their camera. Then the actor went around the setting with it, volunteering to become one-day reporter and generated a big laughter.

Director Ji said, “Above all, I pray for the safety of all staff. We’ll try to make the setting a happy and fun place.”

Expressing his expectations, Kong said, “This series is very special to me because it’s my first drama shooting in five years after getting discharged from the army. I hope it’ll become the best TV series this summer.” Also, Lee Min Jung said, “I’ll give my best until the last shooting to spread out happiness to our fans as well as to other actors and staff members.”

Jang Hee Jin, Bae Suzy, and Shin Won Ho put their voices together and said, “We’re honored to work with these great people. We’ll give our best.”

Having the two best script writers known as “Hong Sisters,” Big will develop a comic, melodramatic story with the best cast of Kong Yoo and Lee Min Jung. The first episode will broadcast on June 4.
