Lee Joon Gi and Shin Min Ah are to become sweet lovers on Arang and the Magistrate

Lee Joon Gi and Shin Min Ah recently finished their first shooting of MBC TV’s new drama series Arang and the Magistrate.

On June 22, MBC released some snapshots taken on the set of Arang and the Magistrate, which shooting started on May 23.

The scene shot on the day was about magistrate Eun Oh and ghost Arang meeting each other for the first time on the street. Shin played a ghost who was watching every move of Lee on the rooftop of a thatched house. Because of her role, she had to move to top of roofs and trees freely.

According to MBC, Shin had fun shooting the scene without being tired despite the long hours of shooting in the hot sun. The director Kim Sang Ho said okay but she asked for another take, saying, “I don’t think it was good. I want to try again.”

Lee naturally portrayed a magistrate with Kwon Oh Joong, who played the role of Lee’s servant, and also entertained the crew members with funny jokes.

After the shooting, the director Kim said, “I’ve got nothing special to say to the actors. I just want them to focus on the series like the first time. I also want them to be careful with water and driving.”

Arang and the Magistrate is a fantasy historical melodrama about ghost Arang who wants to know the reason of her unexpected death and magistrate Eun Oh who has an ability to see ghosts.
