Lee Min Ho voted best Hallyu star in Japan

Actor Lee Min Ho has become the best Hallyu star in Japan.

On June 12, Lee’s agency, Starhaus Entertainment, said that a Japanese magazine called Want to Know More About Korean TV Drama selected Lee as the best Hallyu star.

The magazine is a credible subsidiary magazine of Kyodo News Agency, which introduces Korean dramas and movies every month and selling around 80,000 copies.

Lee ranked first, Lee Joon Gi ranked second, Cha Seung Won ranked third, Park Shi Hoo ranked fourth, and Jang Keun Suk ranked fifth.

The magazine also said, “In Korea, fans of Lee Min Ho celebrated the 6th anniversary of his debut through electric signs in Seoul. He was also selected as the most wanted boyfriend.”

Lee is currently shooting SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday series Faith as warrior Choi Young from Goryeo dynasty. Kim Hee Sun, Ryu Deok Hwan, and Park Se Young will also appear on the series.
