Some pictures of Lee Min Ho in armor with a shield were recently released.

Playing the role of Choi Young, a bodyguard of King Gongmin in SBS TV’s new drama series Faith, Lee portrays a man in the Goryeo Dynasty who never fears death but tries his utmost to keep faith.

In the pictures taken on the set of the series, Lee is in armor with a shield, increasing many viewers’ curiosity about the scene.

Despite the fact that he is in armor in the hot weather, he doesn’t lose his bright smile. The pictures attract a lot of attention because he’s showing off his strong, manly looks as a warrior.

A spokesperson for the series says, “It’s really hot now so many cast and crew members easily get tired during the shooting, but Lee Min Ho never loses his smile, so we’re all encouraged by him.”

Faith is a fantasy action melodrama about the romance between Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho), a warrior in the Goryeo Dynasty, and Yoo Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun), a doctor from the modern world. It will start airing on August 13 after The Chaser goes off the air.
