Actress Lee Yoon Ji, the star who currently plays princess Lee Jae Shin in MBC’s drama series The King 2 Hearts, is meeting a royal family in real life.
Lee is invited to Crown of Danish Film, the official event celebrating Denmark’s crown prince Frederick visiting Korea with his wife on May 13.
It was organized by Denmark Embassy and Korean Federation of Film Archives to improve cultural communication between Denmark and Korea and celebrate crown prince’s visit. The movies Melancholia and In a Better World that won prize in a foreign film festival will be played.
Only those 100 VIPs who received invitation in advance can participate the Crown of Danish Film. The organization company says including Lee Yoon Ji, only those known best in their field are invited under the title of national guests. They are also to be having an individual greeting with the crown prince and princess.
Lee says, “I’m so honored to be invited to this great event. I’m looking forward to seeing them.”
In The King 2 Hearts, Lee plays Lee Jae Shin who is free-spirited, confident princess, but ends up getting paralyzed from waist down due to an unexpected accident. She is receiving positive feedback with her excellent acting skills.
