MBLAQ’s G.O, who appears on Wednesday-Thursday series Ghost, recently said that performing in a TV series is like a pleasant trip to a place he has never been to.
G.O plays the role of a cyber investigator named Lee Tae Kyun in the series.
He was working at a game company and trying to develop a security program. Thanks to his abilities, he was taken into Cyber Investigation as a special recruit but he has never caught a bug or hit a person before.
G.O talked about performing in the TV series, “Of course it’s not easy but I’m enjoying shooting and I think acting is a very attractive job. It’s like I’m taking a pleasant trip to a place I’ve never been to with other actors.”
He also said that he was able to get used to shooting the series thanks to other veteran actors, including Kown Hae Hyo.
“When I was shooting the series late at night, So Ji Sub came to me and asked me if I felt tired. That was very touching and sweet.”
G.O also said that he respects director Kim Hyun Sik. “He is a great man just like his reputation. Even though I’m not good at acting since it’s my first time appearing on a TV series, I believe that the series will look good if I listen to him.”
Kim praised G.O by saying, “G.O is learning from the other actors through their performances. He even waits for hours to see them acting. Even though he is a top star in the singing world, I was surprised to see him working so hard.”
