Miss A’s Suzy was cast in KBS 2TV’s new drama series Big.
On May 27, Born Factory, the production company of the series, released a picture of Suzy showing off her innocent look.
According to the production company, Suzy will play the role of Jang Mary, a ruthless girl who has an innocent face. In the series, Suzy comes to Korea from the U.S. to find her boyfriend Kang Kyung Joon (played by Shin Won Ho) as he disappears.
There will also be a love triangle between Mary, female teacher Kil Da Ran (played by Lee Min Jung), and doctor Seo Yoon Jae (played by Gong Yoo) whose soul is actually that of Kang Kyung Joon.
In the picture, Suzy is dressed in a blouse with frills and ribbons and a yellow pleat skirt. The production company says Suzy has perfectly created the character of Jang Mary who admires the preposterous fashion icon Lady Gaga.
Big is written by Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran and starring Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, and Suzy. It will start airing on June 4.
