Actor Park Min Young recently transformed into a surgeon and was loved by many children.
Park plays the double role of a lady named Hong Young Lae from Joseon Dynasty and a surgeon named Yoo Mi Na in 2012 in MBC’s new weekend series Dr. Jin. The first episode of the series will air on May 26.
MBC released stills of Park, who transformed into a beautiful surgeon, on May 7. The picture was taken when Park shot a scene, in which she helps the children and residents, who have lost their medical benefits. Park received all of the children’s attention by taking pictures with them.
The production crew said, “Even though the hot weather made us so tired that day, Park performed in great harmony with the children actors. Park will show off her elegant and powerful charms as Hong Young Lae and bubbly charms as Yoo Min Na through the series.”
The series is based on the Japanese comic book written by Murakami Motoka with the same title. It is about a modern day Korean surgeon, who goes back in time to the Joseon Dynasty in the 1860s, and works there as a doctor.
