Actor Lee Seung Gi is getting a lot of attention by speaking French fluently.
In the April 4 episode of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series The King 2 Hearts, Lee showed off his French speaking abilities when he went on a blind date with a North Korean lady.
The North Korean lady spoke French because she had been living in France with her family due to her father, who is a diplomat.
When the lady asked Lee if he could speak French, he answered in fluent French without hesitation. He even described details in French and surprised the audience.
People responded: “He’s amazing! When did he learn French?” “He is definitely a prince.” “I think he practiced French a lot for the scene.”
The episode, in which Lee captured the public’s attention by speaking French, received 13.5 percent of the audience rating and ranked first among Wednesday-Thursday dramas.
