Park Tae Hwan: “If Kim Yuna asks me out…”

Seoul, Korea ㅡ Swimmer Park Tae Hwan has revealed what he thinks of Kim Yuna.

In a recent taping of KBS2TV’s SeungSeungJangGu, Park Tae Hwan said, “I am disappointed in Kim Yuna,” and gave away some of his innermost thoughts about her.

Park said, “I sent Kim Yuna a congratulatory message when she won the gold medal at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.” He evoked laughter as he continued, “I know she’s busy, but it was sad not to receive any congratulatory message from her when I won a gold medal.”

Then he caused burst of laughter by showing a short video letter to her, in which he says, “Yuna! Lets keep in touch. It would be great if you could send me a word of congratulation.”

When the MC mischievously asked Park, “What would you do if Kim Yuna asked you out?” Park grabbed everyone’s attention by replying, “I’ve never thought of her as a potential date, but if she sincerely asks me out, I’ll seriously consider it.”

Park Tae Hwan’s candid revelations will be shown on SeungSeungJangGu on the 28th at 11:15 p.m.
